About Usward

My Story

I’ve been married for 25 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that loving each other and making intentional time for each other are not always the same thing.

Life gets busy. Work, family, routines, responsibilities. Even when you finally have time together, figuring out what to do can become one more decision neither person wants to make.

That’s why I built Usward.

I wanted something that could take some of the planning off couples’ plates while still making sure the date works for both people.

Both of you answer a few quick questions about your time, budget, energy, and vibe. Usward narrows all of that down to three date ideas matched to both of you.

Not endless scrolling. Not one person doing all the planning.

Just an easier way to make intentional time happen.

Less planning. More us.

FAQs

Why not just Google date ideas?

Google gives you possibilities. Usward is designed to narrow those possibilities down to 3 choices matched to both of you.

Why not just ask ChatGPT?

You can. Usward is designed so couples don’t have to keep starting from scratch or re-explaining what works for both people.

Why only 3 choices?

Because the goal is to reduce decision fatigue, not create another endless list.

Do both partners have to participate?

Both partners answer before Usward can match your preferences, but one person can start and invite their partner later.

What information does the beta signup ask for?

No account is needed to use the app. The beta signup asks for your email, city or ZIP code, and how you heard about Usward. We use your email to manage beta access and ask for feedback. We won’t sell your information.

What if we don’t like any of the 3?

Usward can provide one additional set of 3 different recommendations.

Is there a cost?

Usward is currently free to use while we continue improving the experience. Paid options may be introduced in the future, but the current version does not require a subscription.
